I began weight training when I was 13 years old. I began with the typical bodybuilding routine, but soon discovered powerlifting. After years of squats, deadlifts and bench presses, I began to want more out of my training. I then decided to learn the Olympic lifts, this got the wheels turning for me and I tried some strongman training soon after. I found myself struggling to find a balance in my interests in strength athletics. In 2006 a friend introduced me to CrossFit. WOW! I had finally found a program that I could combine all of my goals and interests into. The diversity of the CrossFit program has given me incredible results, both as a trainer and an athlete.Coaching Background:

I have been a certified trainer since 2003. Training one on one with clients and also teaching gym classes to children. In 2005 I began coaching the strength and conditioning programs for the men’s and women’s golf teams at Cameron University. Soon after I began coaching the volleyball and basketball teams strength programs as well. In early 2008 I received my CrossFit level 1 certificate and began teaching the CrossFit method soon thereafter.
